UPDATE APRIL 2019 - now fully refitted and ready for launch
The original Lemsteraak design was drawn in 1876 in Lemmer, Holland and was intended as a herring fisher although because of their speed under sail they were mainly used to transport the fish around Northern Europe.
In the early 1900's they began converting them to pleasure craft and subsequently building them for that purpose, unusually for a Dutch barge the Lemsteraak has a long shallow keel allowing her to carry considerable sail. They are raced very competitively in the Netherlands and the east coast of the UK

Here we have a nice example of this classic cruiser. This bullet proof Bill Dixon design is a very happy compromise between comfort, sea-keeping and performance and was one of Moody's most popular models. They are excellent sea-boats and the cockpit, whilst deep, is also well raised to give a pretty dry ride. The interior cleverly gives the impression of a larger boat and the owners aft cabin is positively luxurious for a boat of this era. Throughout the boat, there is quality woodwork and storage everywhere, she would be equally happy hacking round the coast with the family or as a budget... read more
The yacht is well presented and invoices are available for works carried out and items replaced as described by the owner. The interior is bright and spacious with good head room. The marina services include deck washing twice a month and internal cleaning plus dehumidifying as standard procedure. She is currently in a marina in the Rio Dulce, Guatemala and if arranging to view the nearest airport is San Pedro Sula, Honduras and a three hour taxi ride. From the UK Air Mexico via Mexico city is a good option.

When I first clapped eyes on this yacht (some 8 or 9 years ago) I thought she was an Eventide. Well I wasn’t far wrong – she is a bigger version of the famous Maurice Griffiths designed boat.
She has been in the same ownership for over 30 years, but sadly the owner is looking to downsize..
Marine ply on solid timber frames, she has steel bilge plates which allow her to “take the ground”.
She has some really up to date gear including AIS, and the owner has lovingly added some really rather nice carvings to give her the feel of a real little ship.
Those of you who know these... read more
The Evolution 25 designed by Julian Everitt as a small family cruiser. The hull is the same as the proven Evolution 26 quarter tonner but the 25 has the cruising top providing great accommodation/headroom. The hull makes her a rewarding and responsive boat to sail. She has the benefit of a lifting keel, giving her the ability of drying out on sandy beaches and on moorings giving her a wider berthing choice.
This vessel requires a bit of a clean and polish but she is an ideal cruiser for some family cruising and fun around the buoys or lake and estuary sailing. Equipment fitted but not fu... read more
This is a stunning looking boat and I instantly felt special once I stepped on board.
Her exterior has had much recent work, which ensures that she look bright and shiny all over and her interior is a truly lovely place to be, benefiting from brand new upholstery and curtains and much more.
Her current owner has invested greatly in her engineering systems and has incorporated some thoughtful enhancements and her engines are to be freshly serviced in July 2019.
If you want a luxury trawler that should be able to take you long distance in comfort and style, we really recommend you visit... read more

The 48GT gives you lots of space too, boasting a large cockpit area, with its own wet bar and barbecue. The tender garage opens up at the touch of a button, revealing a neat little rib with its own launch and recovery gear.
Down below there is a roomy saloon and well thought-out galley. Sleeping accommodation comprises of a pair of twin cabins as well as the master bedroom, which boasts its own heads and sh... read more
This performance sailboat is in great condition and has been very well maintained by the present owner.
She has undergone a £25,000 refit including new standing rigging and sails, has been dry sailed with all gear stored ashore off the vessel whilst not in use. The sails have always been rolled rather than flaked giving you the idea of how careful the present owner has been.
Overall she presents a fantastic opportunity to have a fully race ready, competitive boat at a great price.
