Le Centurion 40 S, dessiné par les architectes Français Jean Berret et Olivier Racoupeau est un bateau moderne, lors de son lancement. C’est un pur course croisière, très éloigné du concept de la caravane flottante et c’est un peu comme si un athlète s’était glissé dans une tenue confortable…



De la course, il possède l’écoute double de grand-voile, les positions parfaites de winches bien dimensionnée, les lignes de vie omniprésentes et les rails de fargues solides et bien placés, la baille à bouts, tout près de la descente, les cales-pieds parfaits pour les barreurs de toutes tailles et le poids contenu à 7,6 tonnes à vide pour un 40’.



Du monde de la croisière il tient un placard à cirés mouillés, une belle table à carte, une cuisine fonctionnelle avec réfrigérateur et congélateur fonctionnant sur keel-cooler, (un système de refroidissement externe très durable), deux cabines doubles (seulement diront les rabats-joie!) et une salle d’eau.

UN VÉRITABLE COURSE CROISIÈRE

«Petit Frère du Centurion 45s et conçu selon le même cahier des charges dicté par le chantier, le Centurion 40s a hérité du style général et de la personalité de la nouvelle gamme Centurion: silhouette racée, rouf bas et discret, grand cockpit à la fois dédié à la manoeuvre et à la détente, accès direct à la mer.



Il a bénéficié des mêmes attentions quant à son comportement marin: très grande raiseur à la toile grâce à son lest en bulbe profond et à sa carène puissante, entrèes d’eau fines pour un passage en douceur dans la mer, toucher de barre très doux, secondé par une barre précise de grand diamètre.

Son plan de voilure élancé et généreux confère au Centurion 40s un excellent niveau de performance à toutes les allures.



Construit en 106 exemplaires depuis 2003, sa production fut arrêté trop tôt au grand regret de nombreux propriétaires.

Deux mois après sa première présentation dans les salons d’automnes 2003, le nouveau Centurion 40s est élu aux USA bateau de l’année dans la catégorie Best Value Racer/cruiser

Notre bateau est une seconde main , et point essentiel son deuxiéme propriétaire a engagé de gros frais sur les voiles dont les principales sont neuves , et sur le moteur.

Le bateau est aménagé grande croisiére avec deux panneaux solaires , un groupe électrogéne Fischer Panda , chauffage et climatisation , et une trés bonne électronique .

Les taxes annuelles sont d'environ 300€ et aucun leasing n'est en cours.

Our boat is a second hand, and essential point its second owner has incurred big costs on the sails of which the main ones are new, and on the engine.

Il Centurion 40 S, progettato dagli architetti francesi Jean Berret e Olivier Racoupeau, è una barca moderna, quando è stato varato. E' una gara di crociera pura, molto lontana dal concetto di carovana galleggiante ed è un po' come se un atleta si fosse infilato in un outfit comodo...

Dalla regata, ha il doppio ascolto della randa, le posizioni perfette di argani ben dimensionati, le onnipresenti linee vita e le rotaie di appoggio solide e ben posizionate, il baille alle estremità, molto vicino alla discesa, i poggiapiedi perfetti per timonieri di tutte le taglie e il peso contenuto a 7,6 tonnellate a vuoto per un 40'.

Dal mondo della crociera tiene in mano un armadio di cera bagnata, un bellissimo tavolo da gioco, una cucina funzionale con frigorifero e congelatore funzionante su chiglia-cooler, (un sistema di raffreddamento esterno molto resistente), due cabine doppie (dirà solo i killjoys!) e un bagno.

"Fratello minore dei Centurion 45 e progettato secondo le stesse specifiche dettate dal cantiere, il Centurion 40s ha ereditato lo stile generale e la personalità della nuova gamma Centurion: silhouette filante, tuga bassa e discreta, ampio pozzetto dedicato sia alla manovra che al relax, accesso diretto al mare.

Ha beneficiato della stessa attenzione per quanto riguarda il suo comportamento marino: altissima rigidità alla tela grazie alla sua zavorra a bulbo profondo e al suo potente scafo, ingressi di acqua fine per un passaggio fluido in mare, barra molto morbida al tatto, coadiuvata da una barra precisa di grande diametro.

Il suo design alare snello e generoso conferisce al Centurion 40s un eccellente livello di prestazioni a tutte le velocità.

Costruito in 106 esemplari dal 2003, la sua produzione è stata interrotta troppo presto con grande rammarico di molti proprietari.

Due mesi dopo la sua prima presentazione ai saloni autunnali 2003, il nuovo Centurion 40s viene eletto nella categoria USA Boat of the Year nella categoria Best Value Racer/cruiser

La nostra barca è di seconda mano, e punto essenziale il suo secondo proprietario ha sostenuto grossi costi sulle vele di cui le principali sono nuove, e sul motore.

La barca è dotata di grande crociera con due pannelli solari, un generatore Fischer Panda, riscaldamento e aria condizionata e un'elettronica molto buona.

Le tasse annuali sono di circa € 300 e nessun leasing è in corso.

El Centurion 40 S, diseñado por los arquitectos franceses Jean Berret y Olivier Racoupeau es un barco moderno, cuando fue lanzado. Es una carrera de crucero pura, muy lejos del concepto de caravana flotante y es un poco como si un atleta se hubiera puesto un atuendo cómodo ...

De la regata, cuenta con la doble escucha de vela mayor, las posiciones perfectas de cabrestantes de buen tamaño, las líneas de vida omnipresentes y los rieles de argumentos sólidos y bien colocados, el baille en los extremos, muy cerca del descenso, los reposapiés perfectos para timoneles de todos los tamaños y el peso contenido en 7,6 toneladas vacío para un 40'.

Del mundo del crucero tiene un armario de cera húmeda, una hermosa mesa de cartas, una cocina funcional con refrigerador y congelador que funciona con enfriador de quilla (un sistema de enfriamiento externo muy duradero), dos cabinas dobles (¡solo dirán los killjoys!) y un baño.

UNA VERDADERA CARRERA DE CRUCEROS

"Hermano pequeño de los Centurion 45 y diseñado de acuerdo con las mismas especificaciones dictadas por el astillero, el Centurion 40s ha heredado el estilo general y la personalidad de la nueva gama Centurion: silueta elegante, caseta de cubierta baja y discreta, gran cabina dedicada tanto a la maniobra como a la relajación, acceso directo al mar.

Se ha beneficiado de la misma atención que a su comportamiento marino: muy alta rigidez a la lona gracias a su profundo balasto de bulbo y su potente casco, entradas de agua fina para un paso suave en el mar, tacto de barra muy suave, asistido por una barra precisa de gran diámetro.

Su plan de ala delgado y generoso le da al Centurion 40s un excelente nivel de rendimiento a todas las velocidades.

Construido en 106 copias desde 2003, su producción se detuvo demasiado pronto para el gran pesar de muchos propietarios.

Dos meses después de su primera presentación en los salones de otoño de 2003, el nuevo Centurion 40s es elegido en el barco del año de EE.UU. en la categoría Best Value Racer/cruiser

En el interior, las instalaciones están estudiadas para la comodidad de los propietarios, y la nobleza de las instalaciones donde predomina la teca encerada nos recuerda que el Centurion 40S es un gran Wauquiez!

Nuestro barco es de segunda mano, y punto esencial su segundo propietario ha incurrido en grandes costes en las velas de las cuales las principales son nuevas, y en el motor.

El barco está equipado crucero grande con dos paneles solares, un generador Fischer Panda, calefacción y aire acondicionado, y una muy buena electrónica.

Los impuestos anuales son de alrededor de 300 € y no hay arrendamiento en curso.
