Roscoff Brittany France|
Velado is a lovely example of this traditional, classic long keeled cruiser with beautiful lines and excellent performance. The design is well proven, with many ocean crossings to its credit. These boats are extremely sea-kindly and Velado has looked after her crew safely in all weather conditions.
The hull had Epoxy treatment as preventative maintenance in 1994, the interior was refitted in Burmese teak and the saloon and cabin re-upholstered in 2006. The current owners have carefully maintained, upgraded and modernised the equipment since 2012 including new engine in 2013, standing rigging in 2014 and sails in 2015.
Due to Coronavirus, Velado is currently out of the water and being well looked after in Roscoff but we plan to sail her back to the south coast of England as soon as we can. Unfortunately we have not therefore been able to take any interior photographs at present. She is only for sale, with some regret, due to the purchase of a Rustler 36.
