Builder's Remarks: The Leopard 45 has been awarded the 2017 Boat of the Year by Cruising World Magazine, marking the 7th win for Leopard. This award was in the newly created Best Charter Catamaran category, showcasing the expertise of South African Builders, Robertson and Caine, in creating boats suited for the charter industry.


The judging involved thorough dockside inspections and sea trials by a team of three independent industry experts. The Leopard 45 excelled in all judging areas, particularly in performance and innovation. The judges noted the spacious forward cockpit, which connects to the saloon through a translucent door, and the main saloon featuring a forward-facing galley and dinette. Visibility through the Leopard 45 was also highlighted as excellent.


Broker's Remarks: "Fan Sea" is a 2020 Leopard 45 located in Nassau. This yacht has completed its final charter and is ready for refit before sailing away. Enjoy the pristine waters of the Bahamas or take her on a short sail back to the USA. Viewing is recommended.

Designed by Simonis & Voogd Yacht Design, with contributions from the world-class design team at Robertson and Caine, the Leopard 45 enhances the best features of the current Leopard range with new exterior styling and improved interior accommodation.



The exterior has evolved from curvaceous deck features to a sharper, more angular look, topped by a sleek new saloon hardtop extending from the aft cockpit to the forward cockpit.



Available in a 3 or 4 cabin layout, the Leopard 45 offers an ideal entertainment package with an increased aft area, ergonomically designed open plan saloon and galley, larger forward cockpit, and more onboard space.



She is sleek, nimble, and comfortable, incorporating a heritage of Leopards spanning twenty-five years of production expertise.


The increased area, open plan saloon and galley, larger forward cockpit, and more onboard space make her perfect for guest entertaining and long-range cruising.


Onboard entertaining is enhanced with ample dining space and forward-facing L-shaped seating that connects directly with the galley. Wide sliding saloon doors provide panoramic views towards the stern, allowing the interior saloon to flow naturally to the outside aft and forward cockpit.


The boat is filled with natural light during the day and features subtle hidden lighting and individual spotlights for specific areas after sunset.


Designed for a modern blue water lifestyle, the Leopard 45 includes a raised helm station covered by a hardtop bimini, with direct access from the cockpit and side deck. All sailing lines lead to easily accessible winches, with primary winches being electric and operated by footswitches.
