2020 ROBERTSON AND CAINE LEOPARD 45 Crewed Version – Kokamo
Builder's Remarks: The Leopard 45 has been awarded the 2017 Boat of the Year by Cruising World Magazine. This recognition marks the 7th win for Leopard. The award was given in the newly created Best Charter Catamaran category, showcasing the expertise of South African Builders, Robertson and Caine, in crafting boats that excel in the charter industry.
The judging process involved three independent industry experts who conducted dockside inspections and sea trials. The Leopard 45 excelled in all judging areas, particularly in performance and innovation. The judges highlighted the spacious forward cockpit, which connects to the saloon through a translucent door. They also noted the main saloon's forward-facing galley and dinette, along with excellent visibility throughout the vessel.
Broker's Remarks: KOKAMO is a rare crewed version of the 45 with upgraded specifications. It is in great shape, having experienced less usage due to its location and Covid times. It has low engine hours compared to many other 45's in the fleet. The boat features flexi teak in the cockpits, a cockpit fridge, a watermaker, and an inverter.
