Built as a sea-going boat, this 2600 has spent its recent years on the canals and rivers of France but it has proved its capability before, cruising with ease across the English Channel and in 2022 across the Bay of Biscay and through the Canal du Midi to the Mediterranean.

The price includes the possible takeover of a French inland marina berth (where it is currently lying) on the Villaine with easy access to the Bay of Biscay and Brittany canals. Mooring fees very reasonable, currently £340 p/a. Marina includes showers, toilets, electricity, water and access to crane. 2.5hrs by road from St. Malo port, 5 mins walk from a train station.

This area of waterways is one of the quietest and most tranquil in Europe giving easy
access to over 1000km of river and canal cruising. The Bay of Biscay is also very
accessible, less than two day's sailing from the boat's home port, providing
opportunities to travel to and around the enclosed sea of the Morbihan and nearby islands.

Layout
Aft Cabin. Full sized double berth with memory foam mattress above battery and storage area and access to anode bolts. Large cupboard on port side with wood dressing table area. Above the aft cabin and within cockpit, a cushioned sun deck.

Galley
Richly decorated wood veneered work top hinged to accommodate Thetford two burner cooker with grill and a sink with pumped hot and cold water. Folding wood veneered table with seating. Drawers and cupboards filled with all cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. 12V fridge and the helm. Access to the engine below the floor.

Fore Cabin
Large seating area on both sides which convert to forward double berth. To the port side, a quarter berth and wardrobe. Roof hatch to fore deck.

Bathroom/Head
Marine toilet, Pumped water basin with shower hose spray.

Covers
New cockpit cover in blue acrylic canvas in ‘as new condition’ since this is only used when the boat is occupied. Zipped in curtains to rear window and side windows.
Additional (older) canvas cover used off season when boat is unattended. In addition, a two section fitted heavy pvc winter cover which protects all the rear cabin and cockpit

Construction
White GPR hull, deck and superstructure. Twin bilge keels and anode to starboard rear (currently Zinc anode fitted in 2023) Vessel last dry stored from Aug 22 to May 23 in Toulouse and anti-fouled in May 2023.
