1961 Traditional Wooden Cruiser for sale. A lovely boat with an interesting history.
Built in 1961 by Richmond Slipways, a company formed by Herbert Lightoller, who was the most senior officer who survived the 'Titanic' disaster.
In 1970 she was owned by Sir Arthur 'Bomber' Harris, who was the commander of RAF Bomber Command during WWII.
In the 1980's it was owned by the Commodore of the Royal Yacht Club, moored at Ramsgate and used extensively in France and Belgium.
1990 Back on the Thames at Richmond and owned by the landlord of the Three Pidgeons.
In August 1996 she was acquired by the late Rodney Bewes, an actor made famous by his role as Bob Ferris in TV's 'The Likely Lads'.
