Description

Dutch Steel Cruiser built in 1962. Motorised with a 57 hp Thornycroft engine in full working order. The boat has been navigated regularly.
All lights are either 12 volt or 220 volt LED. The water heater is a Farstar gas water heater new in 2016. This provides hot water to the galley and to the shower room.
The heating is by a wood burning stove in the wheel house and two 500 watt electric heaters, one in the rear cabin and one in the galley.
Santa Maria was lifted from the water in 2014 to be scrubbed and bottom repainted. New anodes were fitted. Refitted shower room in 2016 and fitted a new automatic shower sump plug. In 2015 a new Jabesco sea toilet was fitted. Pilothouse has undergone extensive repairs and replacement of wood in certain areas 2023.

Electronics

Four new 100 amp hour leisure batteries and a new 140 amp hour starter battery were installed in 2016 along with two new 250 watt solar panels and a new 2600 watt invertor together with a new MPPT charger regulator.
