A lovely example of a well built and comfortable Delta barge floating home containing everything you would need for a life afloat in Europe. All fittings are bespoke and hand made/built for the vessel.

'Somewhere' has marine air conditioning, solar generated electricity and a fresh water filtration system. making her both comfortable and self sufficient. Living accommodation comprises of main salon, galley, three cabins (two doubles) and two bathrooms.

She was our home for over eight years and after we moved ashore, continued her life as a residential boat school based in the south west of France. She is fully 'passenger boat' safety compliant and her community certificate expires in June 2027. She is sea going (Cat 'C') and has crossed the English Channel on three occasions.

Equipment onboard includes a Simrad electronic navigation, a Class A AIS that can be overlayed onto a laptop navigation package.

The vessel has the ability to collapse its wheelhouse, but is able to fit under the majority of bridges with her 2.7m air draft. Her draft is 85cm.

She was completely repainted and surveyed in dry dock during April 2026. Although her community certificate expires next year, a new 10 year certificate will be applied for once her new certificate of conformity has been issued.

She lies at Buzet-sur-Baïse on the Canal Garonne, mid way between Toulouse and Bordeaux. (What3words: tempests.scrub.fell)

LG Smart 3D tv, UK Freesat receiver. All UK channels are able to be received on all French waterways due to her 85cm Megasat automatic satellite dish.

Galley with 24v Vitri Frigo marine fridge/freezer, 240v domestic supply fridge, Indesit washer/dryer machine. Gas hob and oven, Samsung microwave combination convection oven and grill. Plumbing fitted for slim dishwasher if required. Pots and pans, full cutlery set and usual kitchen utensils/knives. Portable ice maker.

Forward cabin, King size bed with memory foam matress. Fully fitted cupboards, chest of drawers and two double wardrobes. Satellite tv dish control unit.

Single cabin opposite bathroom, houses marine aircon unit under bed. Wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelving. Memory foam mattress.

Bathroom with large shower cubicle and Techma electric flush toilet.

Her outside space is catered for by a bespoke decked area ahead of the wheelhouse, allowing a panoramic view as you dine in the countryside. That doesn't stop you setting up a table in the bows or on the canal bank in the shade!
