I bought the boat four years ago from another British couple. It is registered on the British Registry, so any sale is for a British boat. No VAT, customs, or French paperwork required. It is a British registered boat.

It is moored in the wonderful marina at La Roche Bernard, Brittany, where it has been for the last nine years (and will remain so should you, the new buyer, wish)

We have used it mostly as a Gite/French Holiday Home to stay in. We travel from England at least twice a year and stay two to three months.

The boat sails well plus we have also used it simply as a motor-cruiser (it is a motor-sailer after all.) My partner is not into sailing as much as I am, so the boat has been used mostly as a Gite/holiday home or for motor-cruising.

Since we bought it we have redecorated the interior in white and in brighter colours. This has changed the boat considerably, making the inside lighter, fresher and seemingly much bigger.

The double mattress on the bed in the middle cabin was custom made (2022) to fit the space and from two-part memory foam and is very comfortable to sleep on. There is also a modern (2023) Toshiba smart TV mounted in the bedroom/cabin for Netflix, Prime, BBC iPlayer and such.

The boat sleeps four very comfortably but could be set up for six if required (two in the V-berth, two in the centre sleeping cabin, and two in the wheelhouse/main cabin.) There is a hot water heater plus a shower in the heads/toilet compartment also a shower-head in the rear cockpit.

We have installed a brand new high-quality kitchen unit in the galley with soft closed drawers. The galley also has a small freezer and we installed an electric oven with two top burners. There are two gas bottles on the boat, one in the cockpit gas locker and one in the rear locker. There is also a portable gas stove in an inside locker for use when not at a marina and mains electricity.

The motor is a 49hp Perkins 4108, a well respected and strong Marine engine. It starts easily and runs strongly, it has never been a problem. I changed the oil in the engine and gearbox last September, 2023. At the same time I also changed the engine water impeller.

The boat comes with a life-raft and has life-jackets in the cabin lockers.

The windlass is fully working and was overhauled in England, in April 2023.

There is a new charger for the three batteries and a small solar panel when we are not at the boat. Plus the boat comes with full foul-weather covers which keeps the boat fully covered while we are not there.

The boat was out of the water in 2022 when we anti-fouled the bottom. I also installed new anodes.

When moored at the marina it is connected to mains electricity (220v) water and all services are provided. The mooring fees are very, very reasonable, far less expensive than British marinas. It is moored in the marina at La Roche Bernard, a beautiful old fishing harbour town with great character.

The surrounding sailing and motor-cruising area is superb, the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan lies on your doorstep; with the beautiful islands and very French ports of Brittany to sail to. It is a wonderful area to travel and visit whether you go by boat or car. Look up the colourful and very French towns, islands, and ports of Vannes, Piriac-sur-Mer, Belle Ile or Port du Crouesty and many more.

A wonderful area to spend time.
