Champagne Champagne-Ardenne France|
This bespoke live-aboard Dutch Barge is the height of luxury and comfort. Beautiful curves result in much admiration of the lines of the boat.
This vessel is at home on canals, rivers and estuaries, but is just as capable of sea crossings. Wide side decks and external handrails make for a very safe ship at all times.
With an air draft of 2.7m, it can cover all the popular canals of France and of Europe, and can travel the Thames as far as Oxford. At just under 15m in length, it is easy to handle and manoeuvre and moorings are plentiful. No additional licences are required for operation on German waterways.
This boat started out life in the Medway, crossed the Channel to France, and has travelled as far as Bordeaux. The boat has performed superbly on the great rivers of the Seine, the Rhone, the Rhine and others.
The vessel is fitted out internally with light oak and jasmine-white painted panelling to ensure light, airy and spacious internal accommodation.
The spacious and well-designed kitchen, consisting of bespoke handmade cabinets, is fitted out with a range of high-specification white goods.
The wheelhouse offers a wonderful panoramic view around the vessel. This area includes a table large enough to entertain six people with ease and is complemented by an ample-sized cocktail cabinet.
A huge raised rear deck provides the ultimate in entertainment on a summer’s evening. And a fully fitted canvas hood turns this deck area into a weatherproof room.
Offering both internal and external steering positions, the boat is fully equipped with an extensive range of navigation equipment, including dual chartplotters and AIS. An autopilot is installed, which makes light work of river and sea crossings. The autopilot and bowthruster are fitted with wireless remote controls.
Ample onboard power generation from the generator, solar panels, and inverter can keep the boat running for many days without resorting to shore power.
This boat is fully equipped for living onboard and comes complete with everything required for living your dream. This includes the charts, books, boarding ladders, mooring ropes, fenders, boat-hook, etc.
The boat has been loved and enjoyed by its proud owners, but after a five-year sabbatical, sadly it is now time to return to work.
