Description

An authentic Dutch steel Luxe-Motor built in 1928 at the Boot Alphen aan de Rijn yard, she stands out for her classic lines, her manageable size (14.50 m x 3.00 m) and her shallow draft (1.00 m), which open up the entire European inland waterway network. Fully refitted in 2006, she combines robustness, comfort and elegance: solid walnut cabinetry, modern fittings and top-quality German hardware. A superb use of space, in the service of genuine liveaboard comfort.

The lower cabin offers a vast, open living area: living room, generous galley (gas hob, Siemens electric oven, fridge, microwave, washer-dryer) and a full-width double berth. The forward cabin has a work area, a WC with washbasin and plenty of storage. The wheelhouse, with its solid oak extending dining table seating six, converts into a berth for two. The full aft bathroom, built in solid wood, offers a fine shower and ample storage. An 800 L fresh-water tank easily accessible under the steps, four solar panels on the roof, and on deck a large canvas-covered storage box following the boat's beautiful lines.

After more than twenty years cruising across the whole of Europe - from Cambrai to Champagne, Paris, the Nivernais, Burgundy, the Saone, the Seille, the Rhone and the Canal du Midi, then the Doubs, the Rhine, the Moselle, Belgium (Sambre and Meuse), the Netherlands and as far as the German lakes on the Polish border. An endearing boat, economical to run (Peugeot Indenor engine, around 6 km/h for about 2 L/h), ideal for life aboard as well as for long inland cruises.

Please note: the Kabola diesel boiler is currently not working; heating is provided by portable heaters.
