A lovely Tradition Dutch barge, Katwijker, built in Harlem 1932. Fully converted measuring 23.9m long and 4.45m wide, water depth 1.10 and air draft of 2.70m making her able to navigate the European waterways with ease.
She is able to negotiate the whole French waterways system.
Sassi has been owned and loved for the past 30 years by the current owners and has been well maintained and has cruised throughout that period time.
Spending memorable time in France, Belgium and Holland cruising from Bordeaux to Friesland and all between.

She is unique in having a very large wheel house accommodating an open well fitted kitchen with double doors leading to a large deck with awning making dining a wonderful experience.

Sassi sleeps four in two cabins. Bathroom fully fitted with large enclosed shower. A traditional saloon with wood burner and large master cabin with 160x2m bed side units and fitted cupboards.
The second cabin is to be found in the traditional roef at the stern and has a double bed toilet and vanity unit.

As previously mentioned the large wheelhouse 6m x 4m is fitted out as a kitchen including a range gas cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine plus a large dining table searing four and bench/couch .
Double doors open onto the aft deck with outside dining table.

Engine Ford Dover six cylinder, 'over' serviced and maintained well due to the owners care.
There is a lovely distinctive sound with this traditional engine.
A Purguro 6Kva water cooled generator, again served regularly.
Plus a 2Kva Sterling inverter and large bank of batterieof 500amps enabling long periods of cruising without being reliant on shore power
Sideslip bow thruster producing 13bhp.
She carries two tons of fuel allowing for long distances of travel.
Four tons of water.
Hull survey and repaint 2024 she has a ES.-TRIN is valid until 2032.

All fittings fixtures will be left, if desired by the new owner.
