Description
Azimut 43 built in 1980 and very well maintained. The current owner (for the last 9 years) has taken great care of it and improved it: 2 new stainless steel water tanks (thickness: 3mm), modified galley area, 2 electric toilets, water heater, alternators replaced in 2019, aft awning and hardtop offering an extra room; etc... the stuffing boxes and propellers were changed when the boat was purchased in 2015. For the rest, this boat is entirely original, with no successive technical additions that are always more or less well implemented. The 2 Volvo Penta (1818h) are very well maintained. The configuration makes this a mixed river/coastal unit (draught: 0.90m, air draught: 3.40m) really habitable with 2 cabins and 5 permanent berths. The polished stainless steel door/window frames add a nice vintage look. The photos show minor signs of wear and tear (period fittings, a few traces of condensation, plastic windows, a few cracks in the polyester, etc.). We visited a very clean, tidy unit that is really scrupulously monitored and maintained. Worth a visit.
